4G CWDM Transceivers

4G CWDM transceivers are SFP modules which are compatible with the small form factor pluggable MSA. The 4 Gb/s Fiber Channel standard boosts the performance of storage-area networks (SANs) by doubling speed while maintaining backward-compatibility with 2 Gb/s and 1 Gb/s systems. In addition, 4 Gb/s storage hardware is available at a cost comparable to 2 Gb/s products. 4G CWDM SFP Optical transceivers reaching 40km and starting from 1470 nm and 1610 nm provide the interface between fiber channel systems and the optical fibers of the SAN. They are compatible with fiber channel per FC-PI-2 Rev.10.0.
